FIVE MINUTE SOOTHING & SCULPTING TIPS

We love this sleek sculpting tool for its versatility. It's also super easy to use, as it hugs every curve of the face and neck. Today's routine combines a few favorite sculpting moves, as well as long glides to soothe and smooth the skin.


As always when working with a tool, we recommend applying just a bit of facial oil to facilitate slip. Work with light pressure at about a fifteen degree angle. The tool will also help infuse nourishing ingredients from your products, into your skin.

THE FIVE STEPS

STEP ONE : NECK SWEEPS - To warm up the neck, use the flat edge of the tool and begin to use the tool to gently sweep up and down the neck. This will begin to help with lymphatic drainage, ensuring best results from the rest of our massage. Cover both side of the neck with long, smooth movements.

STEP TWO : SIDE SCULPTING - The curved edge of the tool is ideal for sculpting. Lining the edges of the tool up so that they hug the curve of the cheekbone and jawline, begin to work from the center of the face outward. Use light pressure and work all the way out to in front of the ears. You can also wiggle the tool a bit at the end of each glide for more lymphatic drainage.

STEP THREE : BROW LIFTS - With the small end of the tool, start at the inner corner underneath the brow. Still using light pressure, lift the brow just slightly and glide out with the tool to the outer end of your brow. This move is wonderful for breaking up tension and giving the brow area an instant lift.

STEP FOUR : FOREHEAD SMOOTHING - The serrated edge of the tool is ideal for breaking up forehead tension and smoothing wrinkles. To begin this move, start in the center of the forehead. Jiggle the tool just slightly as you glide horizontally across the forehead and down to the temples.


STEP FIVE : CHEEK TO NECK SWEEPS - Returning to the flat edge of the tool, our finishing move helps flush out any additional puffiness. Starting at the center of your face, line the tool up vertically as you did in step two. Glide out to the ears, but instead of stopping there, you will pivot at the ears and continue to glide your tool down the neck.

Five minute face massages to-glow are timed to be about five minutes long. There is no sound, so you can use this as quiet time or add your own soundtrack. Follow the moves in the video - about thirty seconds per move - on each side. Complete everything in five moves and five minutes. Repeat if if desired, or mix and match with other videos to really treat your skin. Be sure to check back every Friday for new videos!
