5-MINUTE ROLLER MASSAGE FOR REJUVENATION


FIVE MINUTE ROLLER MASSAGE TIPS

Gemstone rollers are one of our favorite tools because they are so versatile. For this rejuvenation massage, we recommend applying your favorite vitamin C or antioxidant serum beforehand. The tool will help to infuse the serum into your skin and boost your glow. These moves combine light pressure for lymphatic drainage with a little bit of lifting and tension release. By removing stagnation and tension beneath the surface of the skin, we help facilitate skin rejuvenation and contouring.

THE FIVE STEPS

STEP ONE : WARM UP THE NECK - We always like to start with the neck to begin stimulating lymphatic drainage. Pay special attention to the area just below your ears and use a gentle downward motion to get things moving. Roll your tool from the base of the ears down to about your collarbone.

STEP TWO : OVER THE JAW AND DOWN THE NECK - With this move, we build on the first one. Place your tool in the center of your chin, and roll outward towards the ears. Then without stopping, continue to roll down the neck. Think of your neck as an offramp for detoxifying your skin. Roll up the jawline and down the neck with gentle pressure.


STEP THREE : OVER THE CHEEKS AND DOWN THE NECK - Similar to Step Two, we are going to continue with rolling outward on the face and down the neck. For this step move your tool closer to the bridge of the nose to start. Roll outward toward the ears and down the neck once more, in one movement.


STEP FOUR : CHEEK LIFT & RELEASE - This move is great for both plumping the cheeks and releasing jaw tension. Rolling upwards this time, start at your chin line and then roll up with medium pressure until your tool is butting up against your cheekbone. You can hold here for a few seconds for lifting or continue to work outward in a zig-zag motion, lifting sections of the cheek and then releasing. As you move closer to the ears, firm up your pressure just a bit more and make the zig-zag movements smaller to help release muscle tension at the jaw.

STEP FIVE : FOREHEAD SMOOTHING - To finish, we want to start at the middle of the forehead. Supporting your skin with one hand and rolling with the other, roll outwards horizontally along the curve of the forehead, stopping at the temples. Repeat on each side and finish your last moves by rolling all the way past the temples and down the neck.

Five minute face massages to-glow are timed to be about five minutes long. There is no sound, so you can use this as quiet time or add your own soundtrack. Follow the moves in the video - about thirty seconds per move - on each side. Complete everything in five moves and five minutes.
