FIVE MINUTE NECK TREATMENT TIPS
The neck is an area of concern that we get asked about a lot. As we age, it is important to show the neck some love by always extending our skincare beyond the face. NuFACE Trinity Pro microcurrent is wonderful for specifically targeting this area. Microcurrent helps to stimulate collagen production and tighten the muscles. But additionally the ultra-hydrating primer gel with three kinds of hyaluronic acid, is great for plumping and rejuvenating the skin. This helps reduce the appearance of neck wrinkles and lines.
This routine can be used to start any NuFace microcurrent session, as it will help facilitate lymphatic drainage for the whole face. You can also apply a bit of water-based vitamin C serum before applying primer gel. This will infuse the serum as you work.
THE FIVE STEPS
STEP ONE : HORIZONTAL SWEEPS ABOVE THE COLLARBONE - For our first three moves, we are breaking the neck up into three sections and working horizontally. Start at the center of the base of the throat and glide your device out to the side of the neck, just a few inches above the collarbone. Pause briefly and then repeat for thirty seconds before switching to the other side.
STEP TWO : HORIZONTAL MIDDLE SECTION SWEEPS - Continuing to work in horizontal stripes, move to the middle section of the next. Using the same gentle sweeping motion, begin in the center of the throat, and work out to the sides of the neck once more. Pause briefly at the end of each sweep before returning to the center point.
STEP THREE : HORIZONTAL UNDER THE CHIN SWEEPS - Our last set of horizontal moves is great for tightening up loose skin around or under the jaw. Still working from the center of the throat, begin just under the chin and glide all the way out. Keep the device just below the jawbone and apply light pressure as you glide all the way out toward the side of the neck and the ears.
STEP FOUR : VERTICAL LIFTS - Now that we have tightened and toned the neck in horizontal sections, we will begin to lift with vertical sweeps instead. Start low on the neck, just a few inches above the collar bone and glide up until you hit just below the chin and jawline. Work your way across the whole throat area, as you glide up and lift. You can also pause briefly under the jaw after each glide.
STEP FIVE : UNDER THE CHIN HOLDS - Holds with NuFACE Trinity pro are the key move in any lifting and toning routine. Starting at the edge of the jawline, line the nodules of the tool to the skin and hold. The device will beep at five second intervals, so you can follow these cues. Hold for two to three beeps and then move a few inches inward to repeat. You will hold in three places on each side, to really seal in the benefits of our microcurrent routine.
Five minute face massages to-glow are timed to be about five minutes long. There is no sound, so you can use this as quiet time or add your own soundtrack. Follow the moves in the video - about thirty seconds per move - on each side. Complete everything in five moves and five minutes.
